Brunt is Ours
By The Pakistani Spectator • Jun 3rd, 2008 • Category: Politics • 2 CommentsThe recent bomb blast in Islamabad in which more than eight people have died and there are many injured in front of the Danish Embassy in F-6 sector of Islamabad mark the gory shadows of the boogie of terrorism which we seem to be forgetting.
Whether these attacks were the retaliation of the current US attacks on the FATA area, or they were yet another attempt to destabilize Pakistan, where they are utmost condemnable they are also a feeler for the new government which is fast adopting the ways of PML-Q,and this could be the resultant of reaction to their Musharraf policies.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and the other ministers and leaders of PPP have said it time and again that they would carry on their war on terror on behalf of the NATO forces, and they have also foiled back the dialogue efforts by the ANP government upon the stringent US pressure.
They should rethink their strategy and they shouldnt be paying back the blessings like National Reconciliation Ordinance on the expense of Pakistani people and thier morale. War on terror can only be successful if its fought through dialogue, and not by carpet bombing.
The brunt has to be bore by the Pakistanis.

“…..another attempt to destabilize Pakistan….”
Like so many other in the past this was just another attempt to DESTABILIZE Pakistan. This is the only and the whole truth and we the Pakistanis must unite and let the enemies, whoever they are and whatever their causes, that for us Pakistan and Pakistani interest come first and we are not willing to tolerate any acts on our integrity, our solidarity and our national pride.
