Black Flag Week Concludes But Struggle Goes On

As Justice Wajeeh-ud-din aptly put that the price of liberty is the continuous vigilance and Pakistanis need to be on their toes to protect their mandate which they showered upon the PPP and PML-N to reinstate the judiciary. The prime objective of the Black Flag Week was to communicate to President Pervez Musharraf that lawyer community as well as the general public were behind the deposed judges.
Aitzaz Ahsan, President of Supreme Court Bar Association, has said that this just-ended Black Flag Week and the other rallies and seminars are not against the newly elected Parliament, but it is to strengthen them and to tell the forces of status quo that lawyers are vigilant and resolute for their cause and they will not rest until the justice gets the justice.
Black Flag Week has ended but the struggle for the freedom of judiciary goes on.

After so many years of corruption under Nawaz Shareef and Asif Ali Zardari (Mr Ten-percent)…the nation, it seems, has for the FIFTH time voted in the same old corrupt leaders.
I don’t think this can be blamed on a lack of education anymore! Afterall, how educated does one have to be in order to realise that someone who has stolen FOUR times in the past will be no different FIFTH time round!!!?!?!
