Bullfighting, a centuries old sport, has been banned in parts of Spain claiming it is a sadistic game resulting in the torture and abuse of the bull just for public entertainment. But we in Pakistan do not object to kiteflying that has proved to be a sadistic sport resulting in the torture and abuse of humans. How ironical it is? Of course, accidental killing is different from intentional killing that occurs in kiteflying.
Pakistan was created in the name of Islam. Those who love Hindu culture may go to India and enjoy life as Veena Malik is doing.

Frightened parents?? see the tv reports parents are guiding their innocet childern how to fly the kites.leave aside the battle between governer and chief minister of punjab. is it not the responsibility of parents to keep away from such dangrous sports and be an example for their innocent childern.yes Governer is wrong Chief minister is right but leaving every thing to state is not wise.Feel your responsibility.

a kite is one of the cheapest sports available to otherwise suppressed and Islamised population.
Show me a Kite and I will show you Laughter.
Show me a Mullah/Taliban and I will show you a world where all happiness,laughter, and flowers will wilt. Throats are slit and boys are sodomized

Islam has nothing to do with kites.
Illiterate Arabs who only came into prominence because of oil wealth have no sense or culture. They breed like rabbits. One man marrying four and fathering up to 40 children. No great feat in the absence of family planning. What kind of civilization will that create. Of course the Mullah says God will provide but has given us brains that are capable of thinking.

The sheer number of children alone is an argument in itself of primitive thinking and religion being infused into every facet of life.
We must repeal the Hadood ordinance and deport all unhappy Mullahs to Somalia to live out their days with their Sharia enforcing pirate brothers.

Honestly i sometimes wonder the range of STUPIDITY people show.

I guess every year , Basant killed millions of people as per author’s opinion.

Mr. Qutrat Ullah: You should move to Saudi Arabia. There is no Basant, No cricket, No Music, No Cinemas. Women only come out inside a tent. This is how you envision Pakistan. A mini Saudi Arabia without the oil.

Give us a break.

Basant is part of culture. It has nothing to do with Islam. We share our culture with the Hindus.
We do not share our culture with the Saudis. We are not Arabs. We are Pakistanis from the Indopak subcontinent with a long and colorful history of Basant and Kite Flying.
First the Mullah killed cricket, Now they want to Kill Basant.

Punjab CM should get out of his bullet proof car and ban all thread makers who use metal strings that cause death.
Pakistan Television and Radio should educate people that using sharp thread is dangerous.
