Arias
Altaf hussain is a leader of dead bodies therefore he cant live with us as long as we are live.have you heard the frequency of target killing in karachi occuring in faster rates than before.
Where this voice has gone for oppressed families, oppressed people due to load shedding, unfair taxation, abnormal rise in daily commodities etc
Where this voice go when president zardari passes ordinance in dark night of hrs without consulting this voice of oppressed people.Atleast altaf bhai is only foriegn leaderr who is awakened at this moment due to time difference.
Voice ,voice ,voice what karachi people do through his voice as arms thunders in late hours of Karachi are making resonance effects on them by mixing with his voice.

Hassan

there were two long marches for the CJP, do you know why one failed and the second didnt?
the reason was there was no political party involved in it,

it was nawaz sharif who asked the people to come out and they responed, not because people wanted to see NS’s new transplaned hair, it was because the people were fed up, they wanted change, they needed somone to rally behind NS filled that vacume

now that vacume is there again, Altaf hussain has just got to make one call and people would oblige him, as they are fed up again, laykin altaf hussain is in love with is new adopted country

Arias,
Personally, I'm not against CJ Chaudry. OK we say that he has done a nice job by checking petroleum prices. But tell me: Will CJ be there for all times to come to check such issues? Should Pakistanis be always looking for a Messiah, some times in the form of Army Chief, sometimes in the form of CJ? And the CJ is due to retire in 2012, so what after that? What if the next CJ isn't that sensitive to issues facing the common man? Don't we have any proper systems of checks and balances. We have a parliament right? All over the world, its the job of parliament to check such issues.

I feel as much enraged on such incidents as you do. Just yesterday, I heard on news of a senator who was fined Rs. 300 for a traffic violation, and yet he blatantly refused paying it. In the end, the local DSP payed it from his pocket to resolve the issue. Today I was hearing that a federal minister consumed Rs. 68000/= in a month for fuel from the national exchequer. And you know how many federal ministers there are? 84! Even in the United States, they have no more than 15 Federal Secretaries.

Arias Boy, Ever tried to understand the root cause of our problems? It is the elite, feudal class, that stays in power, is oblivious to the problems of the ordinary citizens, they suck our blood, loot and plunder public money. Ours is really a suffocating society. On one hand we have the Extremist Mullahs who seek Talibanisation of our society, on the other hand we have the power feudal class that is least concerned about the plight of the common man and only interested in maintaining their lavish lifestyle .I feel as much fed up of such things as you do. All of my immediate and most of extended family members were wise enough to leave this country for good. This suffocating society is really a everyday hell for educated middle class people. But in the end this is our country. Gandhi jee used to say: "if you want the world to change, first change yourself". If we talk of democracy, we ought to elect good middle class people to power, people who are among us. Why support MQM? Because MQM is the only voice of oppressed poor people of Pakistan....

Hassan

thank you also,

doubts remain.........if CJP is taking steps to help the poor is it bad? does it make him a bad man?

if MQM criticized PPP for its anti poor policies, why have they joined hands with PPP for the next elections?

Hassan , remember a union only takes place when there is something common between the two sets
PPP and MQM joined hands what is common between them?

you say PPP are anti-poor, you say only altaf hussain has vision, you say PPP is a fedual party and MQM is a party for middle class.....if the two parties are at opposit poles then what was the common ground between the two? dont you think your quaid could be keeping a secret?
