Are we 170 Million sheep?

All we need is security of food and shelter. We look towards our ruler for jobs, homes and health. He provides us the job to feed our bellies and the land to stay. It doesn’t matter that how many job he gave us and at what reward. It doesn’t matter that how many died in the way due to unemployment, underpayment, disease, extremism and homelessness. We won’t look back to died ones as we can replace those with new one’s rather even more sheep.
All they had wanted was the food and shelter in history also. But they were wild by then. They relied on their instincts. They took the path of Greenland and pastures. They knew where they will find plenty of food and also the shelter. They also had seen the bad times when the earth won’t have had much to offer them. But they survived together. They even faced the human and animal hunters together. And then somebody came in their lives, tamed them and promises them the security of food and shelter every day. They followed his path as he knew the best. And he had all the information where he can feed them and protect them from the hunters. And here they are today, behind him, no more instincts but to follow his foot prints no matter what.
We fought for independence and then gave our acquired land called Pakistan to our ruler and relied on him to manage us, to produce for us the food and shelter but with justice. He provided us the same but not to all. But how come we know that what is happening on our back. How many got killed in the way. We are not managers of our life. We gave this trust to our ruler. He knew the best and he knows the best. We will not survive if he leaves us. When someone from us had wanted to get out of that illusion and had wanted to go back to instinct, we find him no more the next day. We never know, since when he got the stick. Don’t know since when he used that stick on us, which we gave him in the past to save us from the hunters.
All we need is food and shelter. All he need is the “more and more” food and shelter, no matter what!! Shall we move back to instinct or shall we make our choices, may be to choose better sheep to guide us the way. Would it not be better to use the instinct and the guide both, while electing and then keeping a vigilant check, and raise our status from the sheep?
Anyway I want to dedicate this blog to the dead ones;
The “43”, who lost their lives on the 12th of May in Karachi,
The “hundreds” who passed away in the bomb blasts in mosques and markets in previous years,
And to those “unreported ones” who die due to hunger, disease and honor killings and to those who are still dying but don’t worry we have high growth rate and have lot more to offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (God forbid)
Most of the authors want the readers to agree with their opinions but I won’t, at least not in this blog. I am expecting you to please deny me and say it’s not true, and I am totally out of touch with reality in this blog.

We are not sheep we are leaderless nation, go to any where in masses and see the hatred of rulers in the words and eyes of these people.We people love our land ,our standards of livings, our culture, our families but state and its representatives are depriving us of our normal rights and forcing us to adopt immoral and criminal ways to survive and live as normal human beings.
Yes of course you are 170 million sheeps’, who follow the people without even trying to understand and think.
Nazia has said that you are a leaderless country, but can I ask you all one thing, cant you guys start to the movement the same way you did for the Chief Justice? Select a good guy from the current lot who is there or a new person who you all think will be good for Pakistan.
Also that person should be able to select people who will help her/him to run the country without the support from external sources. That is the task that person will have to handle and which really big one.

if Shepherd is like zardari and musaharf then one can think about the future of sheep in the hands of shepherd.musharf as a shepherd has sold his sheep to US for dollars and when zardari is selected as shepherd of nation,he is showing pathetic conditions of IDPs and dead bodies of our soldiers (real sheep of our nation) to outer world for getting more funds for his corrupt team. So our shepherd is selection of west and we are sacrificial goats for our shepherds for their western masters.

@ Nazia, totally ignore this character dr razahaider because I dont think this is same Dr Raza Haider. This is just a character to indulge visitors in arguments and nothing else.
As far your reply on my short comment is concerned, you are 110% right. Unfortunately we are suffering a lot due to these failed rulers of country. Literally Pakistan have thousands and thousands of good and innovative minds but our system is in the hands of corrupts and opportunists. How a country can grow when there are always three standards in every field of life in the country.
I don’t think that we can change this system so easily. Only revolution can change it and for that a true leader is required who can lead without any greed.
Some time I thinks that Allah blessed Muhammad Ali Jinnah and this team to make this country, otherwise as country came into being, opportunists started controlling it form roots and still ruling on it. I once read that in last days of Qaid-E-Azam, Qaid became very disappointed after seeing how country is going in the hands of corrupts and opportunists. This group then also cleaned Liaqat Ali Khan and every body who come in their way.
Alas! we never learn from history (because we were never tough actual history in schools, where a child needs to know actual facts so he can take right step and in right direction).

SC suspends carbon tax on petroleum products

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has given interim verdict to suspend the enforcement of the carbon surcharge tax, Geo News reported Tuesday.
The bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry heard the petitions filed against the raise in petroleum prices.
In case, the carbon tax is withdrawn on petroleum products, the petrol price is expected to come down by Rs10/lit and diesel price to lower by Rs8/lit and the kerosene oil to come down by Rs6/lit.
The apex court directed Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to issue notification regarding suspending the carbon tax on petroleum products.
Talking to media, Senior Counsel Akram Chaudhry said that the higher judiciary cancelled the notification issued on June 30 and directed to stop charging the carbon tax until the Court concludes hearing.
Attorney General of Pakistan Lateef Khosa, Secretary Petroleum and representative of OGRA attended the hearing.
Commenting on the verdict, Adviser on Petroleum Dr Asim Hussain said the price of petroleum products will return to pre July 1 level, adding the ministry of petroleum respects the verdict of higher judiciary.
Agreed Engr Sb. BUT Why we are blaiming these opportunists (Ayub, Yahya, Zia, Nawaz, BB, Musharaf etc etc) who choose to rule on the fate of this deprived and ignorant nation. Sorry i use the word nation, pardon me, we are not a nation. we are punjabis, sindhis, pathans, baloch, saraiki, muhajirs, ethnic rivals, feudal rivals etc etc …. why we are blaiming west for this militant/talibanisation curse, from 1857 west is enjoying to rule and riddle this ignorant and divided nation.

thanks for your sincere advice . I have fair adviser like you so I am not afraid of any such fake or real character like him.It is really not matter that whether he is real or fake dr raza or saza.It is his negative attitude that was delivered through words toward me which I always consider as serious acts of harassments toward female participants for their bold and strong points of views.Such characters always tried to humiliate me through abusive languages just because they didnt get flirtatious response as per their routine hobbies.I always consider myself a symbol of pure Pakistani muslim woman and demand same kind of respect levels from such characters , even Indians like johann have come forward to guide these guys but they stretched their abusive war toward them by labeling me a high profile Indian agent.As you were out of scene so cant know the real story.That’s why I am briefing you a little.
But I think my little effort is not wasted and now this guy actually, somehow realized that all women are not come out for men hunting missions in CO working areas. I really appreciate his graceful withdraw and hope that now he or they will handle women participants with grace and honor which are their ultimate right as human being.
