Are Nawaz, Shahbaz Clear for Contesting Elections?
By Sameer Shaharyar • May 31st, 2008 • Category: Politics • One ResponseBoth Asif Ali Zardari and Pervez Musharraf want to keep both the brothers, who are the backbone of the PML-N and if they reach the National Assembly and Punjab Assembly, it would be harder for Zardari and Musharraf to have their way. But what Zardari and Musharraf are not understanding is that if these Mian Brothers don’t reach the assemblies then they would be on the roads.
The conspiracy to keep these two out of the by-election has already been exposed, and the involvement of the current judiciary and the Rehman Malik is as vivid as anything. The election tribunal of the Lahore High Court consisting of Justice Mohammad Akram Qureshi and Justice Hafiz Tariq Nasim has not sent the reference to the Election Commission, which is not according to the rules.
As the PPP has been compromised, the forces of status quo and darkness are not desperately fighting to get the PML-N leadership out of the parliament, because if Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif comes, then the impeachment of the Musharraf will be inevitable.
If they keep these two out of the elections, then the verdict will be given on the roads of country.

No, they are not, and it’s due to their criminal past.
As far as the threat of streets is concerned, of course no one has any illusions, of course, agitators belong to the streets. That’s exactly where they must be - out in the street - ideally with begging bowls in their hands. This is the only way to spare the nation from these people’s bad intents.
