APC on Balochistan
By Sher Ali • Aug 10th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 3 CommentsEvery Pakistani is concerned over the situation in Pakistan’s largest and resources wise richest — but the most backward — province and wants its remedy as early as possible. News pouring in from this province is not refreshing and the frustration, agony and anger is rising.
Just compare Punjab and Balochistan in terms of everything, and it would pretty much clear as why people of Balochistan are that much angry. From education to infrastructure and from health to jobs, from sports to the culture and from business to the representation in the parliament, the Balochistan is no where to be seen as Punjab or as even Sindh or NWFP.
That is gross and responsibility lies with our establishment and the successive governments who have failed to understand the gravity of the matter and have always shown neglect and apathy towards the Balochistan. Adhoc reliefs and temporary writing off debts is not going to do much. To get Balochistan into the mainstream government need to treat Balochistan as equal among the other provinces.
Until equality is given to Balochistan, All Parties Conference (APC) is not going to acheive anything.

hI,
THE USUSAL WHIPPING BOY RAW OF INDIA IS THERE TO CREAT THIS ANGER AMONGST BALOACHS.
See they rejected wahabism, slafism and never allowed Fundemntalist Islam and reated Hindus and Christians with respect and so their leader was killed in cave by Pakistani Airforce while baitullah had to be killed by Americans.
A great loss to India, That Baitullah died.
Why on earth should there be a need for any APC, in the presence of an elected parliament? The Noon league leader has a penchant for ‘drawing room meetings’ and this is probably why he wants to convene an APC. A highly stupid idea!
