Another blow by Mr Karzai
By The Pakistani Spectator • Apr 30th, 2007 • Category: Uncategorized • 2 CommentsIn Ankara meeting of Mr Karzai with President Musharaf, he again insisted on a stand point that Pakistan is doing less to stop insurgent movements across its western border. He also said that ‘the two nations to work together to fight “terrorists.” ’
1. We want to seal our border with Afghanistan by a fence why Mr Karzai Opposes?
2. To fight jointly you should have a relation based on faith, is that present?
3. We have faced terrorism from Afghanistan, arms culture came to us, people crossed border in times of USSR attack without a passport.
4. Law and order situation became worst due to migrating people from Afghanistan.
5. Afghan & NATO forces are unable to control the situation in Afghanistan
6. Narcotics grow and transported by Afghanistan. Apart from Narcotics we are facing many societal problems due to migrants from Afghanistan.
7. Even Kabul is attacked numerous times near residence of Karzai.
In general views it black-mailing not blaming.
Mediation can only be done if both the parties are sincere to the matter.

So ture Mr. Farid. Karzai definitely is an ungrateful person. Thing is that when you cannot control the situation in your own country then instead of taking the blame on your own shoulders some people try to blame others for their own ineffectiveness. It’s always an easy refuge. We have 1000 check posts along our border with Afghanistan, they only have 100. 80 or 90 thousand Pakistani troops are on the border and Afghans don’t even have an army. They are totally dependent on NATO and ISAF troops. And yet they blame us that we are not doing enough.
Karzai used to live in Quetta, eating Pakistani salt, living-off a handsome aid, and he was never tired off shamelessly flattering the american or pakistani authorities, and now he is there, lashing at us.
For 30 or so years, we have been giving our resources to our 3 millions Afhgani brothers and that clown Karzai blames us?
