Probably you are right nazia. We forgot our true heroes and therefore we are suffering. The time is taking revenge from us and we are getting deprived of these selfless people.

But I am not hopeless, I still see the blossoms of selfless efforts every now and than. And I think they need our care, praise and appreciation. I remember the Night-blooming jessamine ( raat ki raani) in our backyard. Believe me, one can smell its fragrence blocks away in the days when I cared her, sit beside her while reading, even talked to her. Than I left the country and when last time I visited our old house, she was still there but mere a plant, without any arome, nektor or fragrance.

I guess same is true with these noble, selfless people who devoted thier whole lives or part of it. All they need is a word of appreciation every once in a while.

Pakistanis are very poor in conserving real events of history that’s why our generation is unaware of real heroes of our land.
Go and ask any gold medalist of lahore or pindi or Karachi, that who are sir ganga ram. lady willlington,
Lawrence, contribution of rana liqaut ali, nuns of Rawalpindi, madan sisters of lahore,mama parsi etc.
I am sure they are unaware of our true heroes or heroines.Now modern media is coming forward to tell new generation about real revolutionists of our areas who contributed a lot where they spent their lives regardless of differences of religion, ethnic and languages among their communities.
