An Incident of Highly Obnoxious Behavior at Dara Adam Khel Checkpost

(a) I On 13 June 2009 was coming in a public transport coach from Karak to Peshawar
(b) At about 17000 hrs, when we reached at Dara Adam Khel diversion( Kohat- Peshawar Road ) we the said coachers stopped for security check up
(c) During the process of checking by an Fc person specially he about possession of NIC: .he ( FC man) got hold of a Sick community passenger an ill treating manner
(d) I felt sympathy with minority and made a humble request to the FC person not to tease if he (Sick ) in possession of all the identity documents with him
(d) TO my utter surprise the FC man answered back with extremely abusive words that I have no business with it. I just told him that he should be at least polite to passengers other wise the same could be complaint to his officer . At this he raged and ordered me to come down .The other passengers requested him to be cool down however he continued abusing ..
(f) The vehicle was allowed to go as the army security person told that the documents etc of the sick passenger were all right
(g) The driver has started the vehicle when in the mean while the same FC man came back with two army personal one of whom asked me to come down of the vehicle
(h) I acted accordingly came down of coach , shocked hands with them and introduced my name and address in respectable manner and all dignified way I further added that I am a respectable citizen and govt employees and tried to narrate the happening to him( the senior army personal )
(i) I was sure that when he know the actual situation he , being an army personal, would at least make sorry on behalf of the FC person crazy attitude with me and would thus resolve this small matter But to my utter shock the army personal instead of listening to my point of view asked me to be in stand position in open public and ordered me to put my shoes out on the road.. I reminded him that that a respectable govt servant and have no fault so it is my further disgraces Upon this he violently few repeated steps on my arm with punches on my head The FC person also rushed and he also struck me with rifle butts on my shoulder and thighs I was helpless and preferred to be silent because they could have killed there I do not know as to why they left me owing to any consideration because they said they would book me under terrorism Act. I came back to the coach , naturally i was much disturbed . The co passengers tried to console me and said that of course my stand was just and right but these personals are least care about right or wrong On the whole way to Peshawar i was thinking what was my offense that i was so humiliated ? Is protesting in polite manner over the degrading behavior of security personals with some innocent citizen of Pakistan a crime ? I remained in shock for two days and are still disturbed
Some friends came to my help and consolation
Now i have complaint to the concerned authorizes ( GOC 9 Div Kohat and FC Commandant NWFP )
I do no know what action be taken against the security personals while with it i also do not know if peaceful and educated citizen of the country are so degraded with out any wrong what kind of feelings be developed regarding the Army, for which due to many resons i had great regard till the event?
i here by add that what i am struggling is no for the redress of my personal disgrace done to me but for much higher cause i.e. that peaceful, educated and harmless citizens are not dared to be humiliated by the security personals .
For that reason i have intended to bring forth the event happened with me . Numerous citizens are being subjected to such violence and their self respect are made highly injured at check points by these personals with out any just reason however most l of them oft to swallow it
Would no voice be raised against such gross violation and hurting of self respect of gentle citizens of Pakistan ? For that reason i have emailed the event to you as i consider you among the few writers whom may play their role for the cause ,, which i consider a just cause (and am sure you would also consider it so )
( As for redress of my personal disagrees though I feel that it has left a deep scars on my mind still I have complaint to the concerned authorities . Let it be seen what are their response . HOWEVER IF NEITHER I SUCCEDEED IN RAISING A FRUITFUL VOICE AGAINST SUCH VIOLANCE NOR I GET ANY TRUE PERSONAL JUSTICE THEN I FEAR I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DEAL WITH MY EXTREMELY HURTED SELF RESPECT A AT THE HANDS OF SECURITY PERSONALS THEN I MAY PUNISH MY SELF )

you have two natural errors that is why you were tried to be humiliated by these army men.
One is you are moving in public transport if you are in big car with chauffeur, they would never ever dare to do this thing to you.
secondly you try to show them some civilian manners to these fauji damagh and it is highly unacceptable to them specially from any bloody civilians.They only obey by all ways to the order of their boss.
Because of this low profile attitude of army men I always said that our state cant be be welfare state as long army polices would be implemented on civilian laws.
You need not to be hurt as this whole scene was repeated in our Supreme court building in Nov 2007
When an ordinary captain was sent to oust the CJP from his building as the order was passed by COAS.
This captain was highly unaware of laws of country that 17 grade officer has no right to give orders to 22 grade CJP who has same level of authority as his COAS.
Here again the authority is weighted with power of gun that makes 17 grade officers giving order to CJP.
Because of this negative attitude I always speak against militarism in state affairs as low IQ people who should be confined in barracks start dominating on real working class of Pakistan.

you have to give the name of these security personals who maltreated you in the name of security check.
In missing people case a boy was missing from mangla cantt area who was working there as an employee.he was also removed and vanished on the name of terrorism but actual fact was that he had an affair with daughter of an senior officer of mangla cantt and as boy was not up to standard of him so army men protected the honor of his family by arresting this man under the charges of terrorism.
Same thing was done by an army officer maj mutaza{r} working in army organization as an admin officer.Firstly he abused an old man working as an gardener and when another young man tried to stop him he abused him too on the spot.that made young man was very reactive too and he responded that major with same intensity of abuses.Now here comes the show of power that major called all his junior and took this man in nearby room after receiving go head form his boss who was a retired brigadier.
Here that poor civilian was badly hit by army shoes and then threw him outside of that factory located in port qasim area of karachi.Now this made angry to people as that man was pure sindhi and army officers were pure Punjabis.
Jay Sindhi immediately called strike against that major and riots were erupted in near vicinity within 24 hrs.Instead of arresting that major or brigadier the company under generals terminated that major and called him back to Rawalpindi.But the residence of these areas and other employees of that company were attacked and threatened by jeay Sindh for many many months.
So you see some glimpses of negative aspects of militarism in our society.
Waiting for the day when justice beat the power and not the otherwise.
GB i have all praise for you … please do not get demotivated by the stupid behaviour of those uneducated FC men … it is because of people like you that we will , as a nation, rise again … it will be because of people like you who will change this system where fraudiyaas and thieves are our leaders and kanjars our role models … that day is not far away where educated and nobel citizens will no longer be hiding to save their honour but instead thieves and kanjars will be hiding due to their deeds …
we must try our best to stop the “munkir” and support “ammar bil maroof” ….

Few days back i read a column by Atta-ul qasmi and probably in it the same inicdent was highlighted. The victom was educated person , an assistant professor in a govt college If the blogger is the same person i salute to his copurage that he raised voice for an innocent citizen of pakistan and faced physical torture Secondly he is again worthy of appluance as he did not sollow it and raised his voice in the media . I think his this protest is on behalf of all civilians who are often illtraeted by the Army personals whom consider theirselves so superior. .I once again salute to the blogger. His protest and struggle mean for all gentle civilians . I suggest that all sensible civillian pakistani should support him
