When mother of police incharge died, the whole town came to attend the funeral, but when police incharge died, no one appeared.

What an outlandish moment. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has echoed the feelings of billions of hearts in Pakistan. First time, a tinpot dictator has been called before court in Pakistan. Atta moment, atta moment. One cannot savor the moment enough.

From Chaudhry Shujaat to Malik Qayyum, and from Durrani to Shiekh Rashid, and from Arbab Rahim to Jam Yousuf and from Shaukat Aziz to Ameer Muqam, no one is ready to defend their former boss in the court room of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

Farhatullah Baber, the spokesperson of Zardari says that President Asif Ali Zardari will completely honour whatever decision the 14-judge bench of the Supreme Court will announce about the fate of certain judges and the Nov 3, 2007 action of Pervez Musharraf.

The US point man on Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke has also openly said that they will trust the decision of court in regard of Musharraf.

And above all Ansar Abbasi reports that The Pakistan Army would stay distant and neutral from the Supreme Court’s proceedings against the ex-army chief.

  1. Jo ghaddar(Musharraf) apne mulak(pakistan) ka a yaar nahi ho saka, koi uss gahddar ka yaar kaisy hoga?

Musharrf in his bid for power forgot that he too hired the chammchas of nawaz shaif, the same chamchas who used to heap false praise on NS, it was these chamchas who deserted NS and came to musharrf for the sake of power, Did he expect these lotas to stand by him when he will have no power?

as for zardari …..well everyone knows about him

Time for Musahrrf to face the music alone, Good to see this, truly a moment to savor

  2. The author writes:
“……….Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has echoed the feelings of billions of hearts in Pakistan.”

    Billions of hearts?

Sir:It ought to be Millions of hearts, not Billions of hearts as you rather ignorantly mention!

  3. President Musharraf is a geat patriot, a man of honour. No matter what decisions the courts issue against him, people won;t accept.Musharraf Sahab shouldn’t pay heed to these biased proceedings. All 14 judges on the SC bench are those dismissed by President Musharraf in 2007. All these judges have their own grudges against the great man. Why doesn’t the court bring to justice the perpetrators of 1997 attack on Supreme Court??

People won’t accept verdicts of the Biased Chaudhry Court!

Remember how people reacted when a Sindh High bench Court started a biased hearing; remember how hundreds of citizens surrounded the court building in protest. The court had to roll back its hearing!

    Remember:
IT WERE THE JUDGES WITH GRUDGES WHO HANGED OUR ONE OF OUR GREATEST LEADERS Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto!

  4. Who cares ? As long as Allah is with Musharraf.

  5. Tanzeel,
People don’t care really care about these biased adalat’s revenge proceedings. Musharraf is an honest man, and he has no skeletons in his closet!

May ALLAH bless our national hero !

  6. correction: “Sindh High Court Bench” in my comment 3

    apologies for the typo

  7. Agreed with Hassan

  8. Hassan

    >>>>>>>People don’t care really care about these biased adalat’s revenge proceedings. Musharraf is an honest man, and he has no skeletons in his closet!

these same people wont give a dam when musharraf will be punished? so if you are expecting the “silent majority” as mush used to call them, to rise then that is not going to happen

just wait and see no one will protest the verdict

  9. Arias boy,
Everyone knows the Chaudry court well. The Chaudhry Court exonerated Hijacker Traitor Nawaz Sharif in just a matter of days. What does this imply?

Whatever be the verdict, we don’t accept this Chaudhry Adalat! Its verdicts on this case are of no importance as all 14 judges on bench are known to be harbour grudges against former President General Musharraf! And by the way, what can the court do other than issuing a condemnation of President’s actions of Nov 2007. So What? Does is make any difference? NONE

  10. Hassan

the court will give its verdict, and it will be implemented,

    manao ya na mano

it is witnessed by whole TPS that I have requested mqm lovers again and again that give me charge sheet against these judges and I my self will file this petition against judges and let them know when they are called to get answers from SC.I t was almost 3 months have gone these people are sticky to TPS for hours but couldnt dare to make any charge sheet against CJP.
Can any other member of this forum ever had this open offer and trial against her hero.
I even request khokar too that if he was unaware of Sharif case legalities just make a charge sheet with all previous references and I will ready to take his charges that on what basis SC dropped all his charges against shairf.
we all know what he was but why his property and bank balance was not confiscated but the general ignored all who had all authority to punish him at that time.He was just confined him to harassed him as all knew his level of cowardice at that time.He took advantage and let him to go to luxurious exile with full authority of taking his assets as per basis just to get him out of scene of politics.
Same thing was done to CJP but as no significant crimes was not found against him but this threat had been stuck to general’s neck and he had to throw it out and then run away from his own country where he was ruling like king of jungle,
So now SC is restoring its powers and it is not personal matter of CJP Vs musharf. This is the way to put concrete and solid hurdles against further miltiary rules in the country and we are looking these things in this perceptive only.

  12. Main BHI nahi maanta. Politics of victimization just to make a bunch of hypocrites happy will not be allowed. Silent majority of Pakistanis reject Dajjal’s adalat who is indulging into politics of revenge.

  13. To NAZIA, “Significant CRimes against Chief Corrupt Judge”,,,, what else could be the significant where his son got promoted with in two years to grade 19,,,by his Daddy’s phone calls? If he was for real justice he should have resigned on that charge alone but the ILLITRATE people of Pakistani Tribe wanted a Change so they created all that MAYHEM?

  14. Tanzeel,
    Kudos! Well said! B-)

President Musharraf is a courageous man of high character who has never resorted to revenge tactics even against his worst opponents. Biased proceedings are of no importance to us, the silent majority! President Musharraf’s moral standing and popularity will improve further in the face of victimization attempts directed on him

Hum, the Silent Majority Nahi Mantay is Adalat Ko!

  15. Arias boy,
Remember when the Sindh High Court started biased proceedings on a controversial issue, but people started protesting against the biased bench and one day, around 8000 citizens surrounded the court building as protest! The court had to roll back its proceeding!

NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF SILENT MAJORITY!

  16. Hassan, I agree with you that’s why he did not hang Shareef. I wish he could fix himin 1999 when the nation was celebrating military coup with the endorsement Iftekhar CJ.

  17. VERDICT? What verdict - sounds like a bad joke to me - see this is what our highest court has come to - can it get lower than this. I wonder! Everyone and his dog already seems to know the verdict before even the proceedings started. I suspect that we are seeing our whole system teetering on the verge of a calamity, a total disaster and can just hope that it won’t cross the brink. I hope it doesn’t!

  18. One doesnt need to be a BA pass to understand the clarity of the case,

Musharrf invoked PCO was illegal but Musharrf had if endorsed by the Parliment(what ever the composition of the parliment maybe i.e majority Q league) and the court back in 2002-03 nothing wrong with it. Case closed.

but the PCO invoked on 3 Nov 2007 was illegal, Musharrf got it validated by his hand picked judges, but did not get it endorsed by the parliment, at that time(the last one) or from the current one. So the case is not closed.

Musharrf took extra constitutional steps, everyone knows it and nothing to prove in that. He failed to get constitutional cover for those extra constitutional steps, which means that he is a sitting duck, waiting to be shot down.

When Musharrf will be asked to justify his “extra constitutional steps” (the case being talked) …………lets put it this way there is no clause in the constitution which allows anyone to rise above the constitution itself. Is there a doubt what the verdict would be.

So its high time for the ones feeling sick to wake up because its not a “bad joke” only harsh reality

  19. hassan
    >>>>>President Musharraf is a courageous man of high character

lets see if he has courage and is really popular let him come back let him show courage and face the court, but

    >>>>>>>>Hum, the Silent Majority Nahi Mantay is Adalat Ko!

mushharf was proud of the silent majority, the silent remained silent and he was thrown out of parliment i.e routing of Q league and then the President House and then the Army house

but the silent remained silent, i would suggest you do the same

when musharf had made his resignation speech at 1pm I was in my car moving to pindi to islambad .After hearing his emotional speech in working hours I thought his blind lovers would be out and show him some kind of love and made him request to take his resignation back.So I had lot of apprehensions that my car could be stuck on the roads by his thrilling crowds. But really it was shocked that after covering 35 to 50 kms area that day in pindi/ Islamabad area, not a single mob of few hundred people had found there.I was really surprised that man lived and ruled in Islamabad for 9 years but couldnt gain sentiments of few who could come out to show their love to him
I think he is poorest ruler of our country whom all silent lovers have worn cap of invisibility as soon as he decided to quit power seat.
He therefore preferred to take out his wealth from this country at least bees and ants would be stick to his hive after seeing his money power show,
