Ali Sher Haideri of Sipah-e-Sahaba Gunned Down

As the things seem to be settling down in Swat and even in Waziristan, something bad has happened for the peace in country, as Allama Ali Sher Haideri has been killed. It could spark sectarian violence in the country. According to the media news, the incident happened in interior Sindh. According to DPO, at least six people were injured in the incident. The bodies and injured have been shifted to the Civil Hospital Khairpur.

Media reports says that tension prevails over the entire area following the killings. Contingents of police have been deployed across the district to avert any potential untoward situation. Police are continuously on patrol in various areas. Hyderi was the head of a religious outfit, Millat-e-Islamia and patron-in-chief of Jamia Hydri. Later on, talking to Geo News, DPO Shah said Hyderi’s killing is the result of personal enmity, adding the attacker has been identified as Aushaq Ali Jagirani.
