A third-country role cannot be envisaged nor is it necessary?
By Naveed Baloch • Feb 4th, 2010 • Category: Politics • 4 CommentsIndia has rejected any 3rd party mediation between issues pertaining Indo-Pak relations. The statement came emmediatly next day when US and chinese presidents vowed to cooperate on south asian issues.
In a joint statement,US president Barack Obama and his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, vowed to make joint efforts to resolve issues and improve relations between India and Pakistan.
“The two sides (the United States and China) are ready to strengthen communication, dialogue and cooperation on issues related to South Asia and work together to promote peace, stability and development in that region,” they said.
Here is the statement forwarded by Indian external ministry on wednesday, “A third-country role cannot be envisaged nor is it necessary,”.
If one thoroughly studies issues between two arch-rivals India and Pakistan, one wonders that the issues on which both the nations for which 3 major wars have been fought, are infact non issues. for example if we take kashmir we find that it is a territory divided by both countries with or against the will of poor kashmiris. both claim the other country occupying the other side. If kashmir is vacated by both countries and kashmiris are set free to decide thier own future, there will be no more issues left on this conflict.
I believe, kashmir is made issue by establishments of both sides because it gives military a legitimacy to icrease thier budget and finance. it gives a chance for them to make commission, to earn money. We know many scandles from both sides like helicoptor scandle in India and Ogasta_B scandle in Pakistan. There are many scandles which have become public through media. It is all done by Pol-Mili alliance(politician & military alliance).
Same is the case with terrorist activities through respective agencies. We should hope and wait for the day when both the nations will wake up and will replace old and rotten system running since partician.

Consider this :
Population of Kashmir valley: 5 million.( ONE-FOURTH of the city of Karachi/Mumbai whose population is 20 million).
Still Pakistan is obsessed with it.
More they create “war like” situation…..more will be their FUNDING!!!!!
More they create “war like”/destabilized situation in Pakistan…..more will be choas in Pakistan…….meaning MORE FOREIGN AID!!!
More foreign aid meaning more palaces in Dubai , Europe.
A non-existent “Threat of India” is another tool used by Pak army to ensure its never ending supply of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS
Slightly off topic but still:
Pakistan faces NO THREAT from India.
But Pakistani elite “uses” this “fake threat” to fill its swiss bank accounts.
i have many reasons to believe it.
Looking at Pakistan I think we should freeze all outside issues for at least a few years and try and fix our mess at home first. Thanks to the security and Taliban we have lost the moral grounds to discuss even Kashmir.
Whoever says that Talibans are the cause and effect of Kashmir is just plain political rubbish. These are those wrong decisions of a decade that incompetent Generals led by Zia forced upon our nation. We now have to bear the consequences.

Our partition was according to religion as envisaged by British Imperialism.Nearly 1 crore Hindus and Muslims dieD during 1947.
A Muslim in Pakistan feels that 60% of population of kashmir being Muslim, it should go to Pakistan.A correct perception.
But Bristish had other games, they wanted INDEPENDENT KASHMIR” so they were using Hari Singh and Sheikh abdullah .But Pakistan prempted it by invading and hari Singh has to accede to india and the game has now become a war game.British were happy selling gnats and canberras to india while USA was happy selling sabres and patton tanks to Pakistan.But the entry of USSR and China has changed their gameplan.We have plenty of scandals from Bofors,, westland helicopters,Avros,barack missiles, Coffin scam etc like your scorpene deal. But that is our history and we NEVER LEARN FROM HISTORY.
Now CIA has asked your army to prepare for OPEN SUPPORT FOR KASHMIR(NOT COVERT AS OF NOW). They are desperate to have a figleaf from Afghanistan and pakistani Army is asked to do this. LET and Gen hamid GUl are doing just that. But CIA
s ultimate aim is to to have a short war between two nations so that they can sell their weapons while
DEFANGING NUKES OF INDIA AND PAKISTAN. Just wait and watch for this gameplan to evolve,
