Sher Ali,
You have brought out a very important pooint. Pakistan/Iran relations.Iran/Pakistan/India pipeline would have cemented relationship of all the three countries. But USA did NOT want this economic relationship. Why?
The present troubles of Zardari is not related to NRO or his commission gained during old PPP rule.It is connected to this IPI pipleine which Zardari signed defying USA. The Americans would love to have an army man or even Gillani as long as they kow tow to Muslim Umma of Saudi arabia.Iran must be isolated is the game and also Pakistan/India enmity must be continued.
 Regarding Afghanistan.
China has purchased the biggest copper mine there with $2.8 billion investment while foolish Indians are suckered into building parliament building and roads for NATO with their own money. Afghans love Indians from the days of Badshsh Khan and they hate fundamentalism till ISI trained taliban dynamited the bamiyan.
USA wants Indian troops but from Rumsfeld days and we have resisted.
India respects Afghanistan as an independent country and they can have friendship with any country they want. We do NOT need breadth in our defence..

LOL, these Paki"stani" Mullahs are not able to digest the reality and are spewing venom. Tipu Sultan, disprove the theory that Pakistani Muslims are half brained zealots and just google search about "India in Afghanistan" and then "Pakistan in Afghanistan".

As for India's capabilities, let the envious Paki"stani" bark! hahahaha!!

@Skee, India definitely has it's self interest in mind as a stable neighboring country is good for it's own interests. A Taliban ruled Afghanistan means a fertile training ground for various terror factories supported by ISI like Al-Qaeda, Lashkar, Hijbul etc and no prizes for guessing who these crackpots are against; Hindus, Jews and Christians.

If Indian aid is helping Afghanistan, why should Pakistan object to it? Pakistan has used and misused Afghanistan for decades, finally the Afghans are coming out of dark ages, please do not hinder that.

@ Jai Ho!

I like the way you think. You seem like a proud hindustani. I like people who take pride in what they are... But with pride there is a potential for vanity so therefore check yourself, before you wreck yourself brotha ...

Now I wont get into the whole 'its not paki, its pakistani' saga because if you have the intelligence to conceptualize the kind of objective arguement that your have above, I'd expect you to have the manners and ettiquette that accompany intelligence...

As far as your observation regarding pakistan's role in afghanistan is concerned, I respect your opinion but I'd like you to consider this .... in your informed opinion do you think India's active participation in Afghanistan is based on altruism or misguided and ill-perceived self-interest?

You Paki's have really decided that come what may, you will not let Afghanistan prosper right? Let us analyze what Pakistan gave Afghanistan compared to India.

1. Pakistan gave Taliban.

2. Pakistan gave terror to Afghanistan.

3. Pakistan gave a brutal regime which completely destroyed women's freedom in Afghanistan. Widows turned beggars or prostitutes and even they were beaten up as they were not in the company of a relative.

4. Pakistan gave a safe haven to Al-Qaeda through ISI and this became a main point of destruction of Afghanistan in the coalition bombings and innocents suffered.

5. Pakistan gave Mullah Omar to Afghanistan, a psycho.

Now let's see what India gave Afghanistan.

1. India rebuilt Afghanistan's parliament

2. India built roads and highways in Afghanistan. For the first time in many decades, they have a decent infrastructure.

3. India gave electricity and built many power plants.

4. India donated planes to Afghanistan to restart their national airlines Ariana and also donated hundreds of buses.

5. India built hospitals.

6. India is helping many poor men, women, children a chance to walk again with the help of the jaipur artificial limb program, now given free of cost to thousands of Afghans injured in Taliban misrule, a rule which was supported by Pakistan both diplomatically and ideologically.

7. India is training hundreds of Afghan youth in Indian universities free of cost.

So you bloody Paki's, evil nation and children of satan, don't ever dare try to stop what Afghans are finally getting now or you as a nation will land in hell for your treacherous designs. You could never do anything good except destroy but when someone else is doing something good, don't cry hoarse and stop it.
