70 Million Youth of Pakistan
By Muskan Hina • Aug 25th, 2009 • Category: Politics • 2 CommentsI am sure that if we didn’t have five rivers, two deserts, vast fertile lands, sky-touching peaks, tourist attractions, minerals, gas, coal and oil reserves, rich sea-beds, promising shores and nuclear technology, we would even then could become one of the world’s richest country in the world, just because we have a country teeming with Youth. 70 million Youth.
What an asset, what an untapped asset. Potential at its best and best in huge quantity. Pakistan is fortunate that out of population of 170 million, 70 million are youth. Pakistan is one of very few countries in the world which doesn’t have an aging population, but an increasingly young mass.
But this Youth is not being taken care of. This youth needs education, health and opportunities. This intelligent, talented and promising lot is getting wasted. It’s an asset for the Pakistan and for the globe and United Nations must come forward to initiate a special program in collaboration with Pakistan to groom this youth for the world.

The cottage industry of Pakistan is terrorism and it will absorb all the 70 million youth. No worries.
Oh yes …There is too much potential in it. If we use it properly. We can be a super power no doubt. Only the will what we all need.
